The Centers at St. Camillus St. Camillus is a not-for-profit healthcare facility featuring comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including subacute and brain injury rehabilitation programs; continuing care; outpatient rehabilitation, home healthcare; medical transport and a variety of other support services. Located in the Westvale area of Syracuse, New York, the integrated teams of healthcare professionals at St. Camillus are dedicated to caring for life.

The RehabPath Subacute Rehabilitation program is intense and accelerated. It helps both inpatients and outpatients build strength, independence and allows individuals to achieve their maximum level of function before returning home. The RehabPath Program is also tailored to the individual. Inpatients stay in a home-like unit that is separate from the rest of the facility. Therapies, diet, family participation and more are highly customized.

Special emphasis is placed on family participation as it is highly therapeutic for inpatients. Both the patient and their family are involved from the very beginning to determine a clearly-defined treatment plan. This process takes the guesswork out of recovery so the patient and family will know what to expect and how the rehabilitation will proceed. The entire process of inpatients going from hospital to home usually takes about one to three weeks, depending upon the diagnosis.
