We have the following volunteer positions open:

Activities

• Weekends – Assisting recreation services staff; encouraging residents to participate

Admissions

• Greeter – Escort and welcome newly admitted patients Wednesdays and Thursdays 11:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• Clerical assistance – Fridays

Adult Day Health Program

• Afternoons 1-2:30 p.m. Mon.-Fri.
• Assist with activities for adults in the Day Health program

Dining Room

• Assist residents in getting to and from dining room at mealtime

Resident clothing repair

• Sew items at home for our residents

Gift Shop

• Provide service to retail customers

Home Care

• Clerical support by filing, copying, organizing, etc.

Marketing

• Help distribute inpatient surveys
• General office support
• Write newsletter articles
• Days/times flexible

Medial Records

• General clerical tasks including copying, filing, faxing, etc.

Pastoral Care

• Provide listening and conversation to support residents living with aging and spirituality

Resident Transport

• Assist with transport to in-house appointments and activities Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings

Visiting with Compassion

• Bring the gift of companionship and friendship to be an encouraging presence to the resident
